Oliver Scott has twelve years of experience managing small business training and financing institutions, including as Director at OBDC, the top SBA MicroLoan and Community Advantage lender in the nation.

He previously served as the National Development Council’s 7(a) Loan Officer in the Pacific Northwest, and the Program Loans Manager of Evergreen Business Capital. 

Oliver launched an entrepreneurship training program in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he mentored woman-owned, small- and micro-enterprises using the same Centro curriculum Urban Business Support teaches.

He was educated at American River College, Pomona College, Oxford University, and Duke University and is fluent in Spanish and French.

A mom of two adult daughters and grandma of one grandson, she’s a member of Forbes Coaches Council, graduate of Georgetown University (B.S. Business Administration) and Coach U’s Advanced Corporate Coaching Program and holds a Fundraising Management Certificate from the University of Washington.

She is delighted to serve as Board Secretary for Urban Business Support, also serving on the advisory board for Attain Housing (a homeless housing agency in King County). She enjoys reading, hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest trails, and travel.

Arturo has more than 20 years of work experience as a management consultant, specializing in economic development, strategy, governance, risk management, finance, and organizational change management.

He has earned an MBA in Strategic Management and Leadership from Peter F. Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University and a BA in Economics as well as a concentration in Finance from Haas School of Business of U.C Berkeley.
